Casa Azure is set in a quiet residential area of Ferragudo at the village summit. If you click on the Google earth picture below you'll see just how close the villa is to the beach, village square and quay. The locals say that this position in Ferragudo is the most coveted as you are only a short stroll to a beach or the village restaurants and cafes. There is also another reason for this popular position and that's the views from the roof terrace. From the roof terrace you are never short of something to look at, there are great views to the castle, beach, Portimao marina or Monchique mountians.

Several tourist shops selling toys for the beach, postcards etc. Ferragudo harbour, from here you can also take a very pleasant and inexpensive water taxi to Portimao harbour (the town) or Portimao Marina where you'll find an even larger choice of restaurants, shops, other beaches and entertainment.
